With just ten rooms, we get to know our guests by name. Tell us how your day looks, and we will work dinner and the baths around it.
We are not much for ceremony, I am afraid. Make yourself comfortable on the tatami; there is no need to hurry.
Baths
Four baths, all yours.
Two indoors, two open-air, all fed straight from the spring. They are open around the clock, so come when it suits you.
To have an open-air bath to yourself, hang the wooden tag at reception. That is all there is to it — no booking.

Every room is tatami. If you would like to hear the river, open the window a little.

Food
Do save room for the rice.
Wild vegetables, mushrooms, river fish — picked nearby, cooked plainly, and plenty of it. The rice is Koshihikari from Uonuma.
Our most popular dish? Breakfast. A raw egg stirred into hot rice.
