ABOUT TSUKIMISŌ

A century of quiet keeping.

Founded in 1909, our inn sits between the Ginzan river and the gaslights of the old town. Four generations have kept the same waters here.

There are only twelve rooms. In a silence deep enough to make you soften your footsteps, only the seasons seem to move.

Every room is different in design, and every window opens onto the hot-spring town.

DINING

The mountain, one plate at a time.

Vegetables from the fields, fish from the river, greens from the mountain. Our kaiseki is built from this place alone, and changes with the season.

Dinner is served in your room or in a private dining room. Please tell us about any allergies when you reserve.

ONSEN

Straight from the source.

Our baths are filled directly from the Ginzan spring, undiluted. The water is clear and soft, and it takes the journey out of you.

Alongside the indoor baths there are two private open-air baths, free to use once during your stay.
