Every design runs the same Dawnlight Hotel OS underneath. Swap in your photos and your words and it becomes your site. The categories are a guide, not a rule — a ryokan is welcome to pick a city design.
View the demo →Photographs run the full width with serif type set over them, and the gaps between sections are long enough that each image gets its turn. It carries a small set of pictures well, which suits an inn with one good photograph per room.
View the demo →The navigation is pinned to a left-hand column and only the right side scrolls, with sections numbered 01 to 05 so a reader always knows where they are. A quiet, architectural page — the kind that rewards a building worth looking at.
View the demo →The body text is set vertically, and so is the navigation. Japanese becomes the ornament instead of sitting inside one, which makes the page unmistakable in a list of horizontally set sites — and the more kanji in the name, the better it looks.
View the demo →Numbered headings sit across the top like a contents page, the photographs carry plate numbers, and every season becomes another issue. For an inn that changes its menu or its rooms month by month, keeping the site current is the content.
View the demo →White ultra-bold Latin type at full size on near-black, one accent colour, and a ticker running along the foot of the screen. This one is loud on purpose — right for a hotel whose evening is the point, or an opening that needs its name remembered first.
View the demo →The first screen carries the rate, the booking form and the walk from the station, and the rest is laid out in rounded cards so there is nowhere to hesitate. Built for a property whose guests arrive from a comparison site and decide in seconds.
View the demo →In the Swiss tradition, with the layout grid left on show: monospace type, vertical rules, sections numbered from 001, coordinates in the corner, no ornament anywhere. It suits a hotel that would rather present identical rooms as a standard than apologise for them.
View the demo →Nothing but white. The type is small and widely tracked so the space around it does the work, and images are hung one at a time with room to breathe. The corollary is that photography has nowhere to hide, so this one repays a proper shoot.

View the demo →Images sit inside rounded frames with margin around them instead of bleeding to the edge, and every button and field is rounded too. Nothing on the page has a hard corner, which reads as approachable to families and to older guests.
View the demo →Photography runs edge to edge as a band, with the text below it on a pale field rather than laid over the image. Nothing has to stay legible against bright sky, so a library of daylight shots is enough to build on.
View the demo →A dark ground with the type reversed out of it, and a strip of travel directions set immediately under the photograph, so atmosphere and practicality share a single screen. The effect is enclosing, which tends to suit somewhere cold.
