Eligible costs

Equipment and fixtures that benefit travellers: labour-saving convenience, safety, tourism content, and reception environment such as multilingual support

Named in the guide: self check-in kiosks, reservation management systems, cashless payment systems, service robots, multilingual translation systems, tablets for multilingual guidance, Wi-Fi routers

Not covered

Monthly fees for cloud systems, leased or rented software and hardware, communications, second-hand goods, consumption tax, anything introduced before the grant decision. Producing a site or digital map to promote the equipment is also excluded

What qualifies is the one-off cost. Monthly cloud fees are excluded, so the application is built around set-up, equipment and implementation.

Starting early

Costs started before the grant decision are not accepted. Order after the decision date and complete installation and payment by 26 Feb 2027.

How to apply

By registered post or e-mail to the secretariat; one application per property. Attach stamped quotations and a catalogue; two or more quotations where a single quote is ¥500K (ex-tax) or more.

Our part under this scheme

You file the application. We prepare the quotation (and tell you when two or more are required), the catalogue, the technical part of the implementation plan, and the delivery notes and completion report the final report needs. We can introduce an administrative scrivener.
